The Gul Boota kimono jacket is a relaxed longline open-front jacket with wide sleeves, individually hand block printed and finished with hand embroidered details. Made in a cotton and wool blend that drapes beautifully, resists creasing, and works as effortlessly for the office as it does for an evening out.
Each jacket is made individually by hand in our Leyton, London studio. Available in sizes S, M, L and XL, and in your preferred colourway. Just get in touch to discuss a custom order.
Gul Boota means flower and leaf in Urdu, a motif that has been used in South Asian textile traditions for centuries. Wearing one is wearing that history.
The block used to print this jacket is a rescued vintage block, brought back from my recent trips to Pakistan. Each one has its own history, and that history is now part of yours.
